Candle Care
To ensure optimal and safe candle usage, follow these care instructions:
- Before lighting, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoking and uneven burning.
- Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.
- During the initial burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface, preventing tunneling.
- Avoid burning for more than 4 hours each time; never leave a burning candle unattended. If the wick develops a mushroom-like tip, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight it.
To extinguish the flame, use a snuffer or gently blow it out to minimize smoke. Regularly check for debris in the wax pool and discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains. These guidelines will promote a more extended, safer, and enjoyable candle-burning experience.
